Maidenform Brands net income triples in Q2, sales surge

Net income for the first half of 2006 was $15.7 million compared to $7.0 million for the comparable period in 2005. Diluted earnings per common share was $0.65 for the first six months of 2006 versus a loss of $0.43 for the first six months of 2005.
