Bebe stores inc announced that Walter Parks, the current Chief Financial Officer, will assume the title of Chief Operating Officer in addition to his current title.
Parks will now be responsible for finance and accounting, investor relations, planning and allocations, distribution and logistics, information technology, real estate and construction, corporate procurement and legal.

Parks has served as Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in December 2003 and has been a highly effective leader during his time with the company.
Parks has focused on company wide financial and operational disciplines and during his tenure the company has reached industry leading operating margins and sales per square foot.
