US based fashion designer Company Perry Ellis International Inc announced it has entered into a license agreement that will extend the popular Original Penguin brand to newborn, infant and toddler sizes. Weeplay LLC will produce sportswear and outerwear in the new sizes, including denim pants, sweaters, skirts, dresses and blouses and a variety of jackets. The sportswear and outerwear will be distributed domestically.

The new product lines will launch for spring 2006 into better department and specialty stores.
