Outdoor gear manufacturer Sierra Designs has introduced a technical apparel line for kids that has been extremely successful and is being expanded. Styles include shirts made of fabric that's ultra wicking and anti-microbial, and pants and shorts made of quick drying material.
Sierra Designs had done well with its children's sleeping bag line debuted three years back. These bags have child friendly features such as attached stuff sacks, removable pillows and interior-exterior pockets for stashing toys or games.
German footwear company Lowa will introduce shortly a line of children's hiking shoes and boots in the US.
