Sporting goods retailer Goody's Family Clothing Inc is invited for the grand opening of its newest location in Cedar Bluff on Thursday, August 4, 2005. The new 20,018-square-foot Cedar Bluff store will be located at Claypool Hill Mall. Local dignitaries and executives from Goody's corporate office in Knoxville, Tenn. will commemorate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Shoppers are invited to celebrate the grand opening festivities at 9 a.m.
The first 300 customers will receive a goody bag with five lucky customers receiving a bag including a $100 giftcard. Throughout the grand opening Weekend, shoppers will also have the opportunity to register to win an assortment of prizes including a $500 giftcard and family vacations.

The Cedar Bluff location is one of six stores hosting grand opening ceremonies on August 4. New stores in Commerce, Ga., Elizabeth City, N.C., Terre Haute, Ind., and Junction City, Kan. open their doors for the first time while shoppers in Kingsport, Tenn. will be greeted to a totally new shopping experience as the store moves to a new location.
