Leading retailer S&K Famous Brands Inc announced sales for the five weeks ended July 2, 2005. Total sales increased 8.0 percent to $17.3 million compared with $16.0 million last year. Same-store sales were up 7.8 percent.
Sales for the 22 weeks ended July 2, 2005 increased 9.0 percent to $88.0 million compared with $80.7 million for the same period last year. Same-store sales were up 8.7 percent.
S&K Famous Brands Inc operating 234 stores in 27 states reaching from the East Coast to Texas, and from Maine to Florida put forward a complete line of men's apparel generally priced 20-40 percent below department store and specialty store regular prices.
