Marchpole launches Emanuel Ungaro menswear collections

Marchpole Holdings plc, the brand management company today announces that the debut Emanuel Ungaro menswear collection will be launched into three Ungaro flagship stores. The first two in New Bond Street, London and Avenue Montaigne, Paris, will be in time for this coming Autumn Winter 2005 season and the third, in Madison Avenue, New York for Spring Summer 2006.

The menswear collection, licensed by Marchpole and designed by Creative Director José Levy, will occupy 300 sq ft of the existing New Bond Street store and 450 sq ft within Avenue Montaigne. At both locations the menswear will be a permanent feature in two of the store's windows. The first collection, Autumn Winter 2005, will be available from August.

The Madison Avenue store, New York will occupy 595 sq ft, with two permanent windows on 67th Street and a window on Madison Avenue The debut collection comprises of two entities, Emanuel Ungaro (formal wear) and Ungaro (casual wear). For Autumn Winter, Emanuel Ungaro focuses on tailoring with suits, jackets, shirts and fine knits including an evening dress collection entitled 'Le Soir' which features shirts produced by the fashion houses atelier in Paris.

Ungaro, in contrast, offers a more casual look with t-shirts, knits and denim. The collections share distinctive characteristics of slim elegant silhouettes, seam movement on jackets, shirts, t-shirts and knits and recurring polka dot and floral patterns all inspired by the couture heritageof the fashion house.
