Apparel major TAG not to sell shares

Los Angeles based Casual and moderately priced apparel seller Tarrant Apparel Group reported the form 144 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 1, 2005 on behalf of the Company's Chairman, Gerard Guez, was filed erroneously. Guez has no present intention to sell shares of Tarrant Apparel Group.

Tarrant Apparel Group, founded in 1985, is a leading provider of men's, women's and children's casual, private label apparel. The Company has strong relationships with specialty retail, mass merchants and national department stores including Abercrombie and Fitch, Chicos, Federated, Kohl's, The Limited, J.C. Penny, K-Mart, Sears, Target, Mervyn's, and Walmart. In addition, the Company produces finished garments for several international designer brands.
