Pumpkin Patch is Australia's leading children's fashion company, and is increasingly recognised as an international brand representing innovative design and quality product.

The Group operating revenue increased to $280.4m; up 60.1m or 27% on 2004. Sales growth was seen across all segments, especially the Australian and United Kingdom market, and the wholesale accounts.

EBIT (before the one off costs of developing the United States retail operation) for the period was $37.5m; up 64% on 2004 of $22.9m (before costs of restructuring pre-listing employee share schemes). This was the result of strong trading performance across all the markets, the company's continued focus on inventory and margin management, the general economies of scale being generated across the Company.

Net profit after tax (before the after tax one off costs of developing the United States retail operation) was $24.5m. This up 64% on 2004 net profit after tax (before cost of restructuring pre-listing employee share schemes) of $15.5m.

The Directors have approved the payment of a final dividend for 2005 of 4.25 cents per share, taking the total dividend for 2005 to 8.00 cents per share. Download company Annual Report for more information.
