Nation's largest catalog merchant JC Penney Company Inc is offering shoppers a fresh, fun and more convenient way to experience great brands and smart prices with the grand opening of the JCPenney department store at Turtle Creek Mall, located at 3000 Highland Drive, Jonesboro, Ark.
The celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting at the store entrance on Friday, October 7, at 9 a.m. JCPenney at Turtle Creek Mall is one of seven new stores opening that same day. The company will open three additional stores in November.
Store Highlights The new JCPenney store, covering 80,736 square feet, is designed in the company's latest format to make shopping even more convenient and enjoyable for customers.The new store layout helps shoppers easily locate major brands such as Arizona Jean Co., Chris Madden for JCPenney Home Collection, nicole by Nicole Miller, SouthPole, Worthington, Stafford, W, Bisou-Bisou, Oshkosh, Nike, St. John's Bay and more.
Grand Opening Activities Throughout grand opening week, customers can register to win great prizes, including a Chrysler 300C automobile, a 40-inch HDLCD television and a laptop computer package. In addition, 20 lucky shoppers will win $250 gift cards to be used toward any JCPenney purchase. Other activities include product demonstrations and special discounts for the entire family.
The 103-year-old retailer, which has proudly served Jonesboro since 1928, currently contributes approximately 145 jobs tothe city's economy. JCPenney at Turtle Creek Mall will operate Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
