Women's speciality retailer United Retail posts good Sept figures

Large-size women's apparel and accessories seller United Retail Group Inc announced that net sales increased 2 percent to $36.9 million during September 2005 from $36.0 million during September 2004.
Comparable store sales increased 4 percent for the month.
Net sales increased 4 percent for the fiscal quarter to date to $62.7 million from $60.1 million in the same period last year.
Comparable store sales increased 6 percent for the fiscal quarter to date.
Net sales increased 10 percent for the fiscal year to date to $283.9 million from $258.9 million in the same period last year.
Comparable store sales increased 11 percent for the fiscal year to date.
Comparable store sales data does not include online ("Shop @ Home") sales. Shop @ Home sales increased 125 percent for the month of September, 115 percent for the fiscal quarter to date and 107 percent for the fiscal year to date.
