Tennessee based clothing retailer Goody's Family Clothing Inc will hold a grand “re-opening” of its newly remodeled Camden store in Sprindale Plaza on Thursday, November 3, 2005. Local dignitaries and executives from Goody's corporate office in Knoxville, Tenn. will commemorate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The store will open to the public at 9 a.m.
The first 300 customers will receive a goody bag with five lucky customers receiving a bag including a $100 giftcard. Throughout the grand opening weekend, shoppers will also have the opportunity to register to win an assortment of prizes including a $500 giftcard and family vacations.
The 19,800-square-foot store includes elements of the “new store” design recently implemented by the company. This shopper-friendly concept features wider aisles and easy-to-read department signage. Camden customers will be greeted to fitting room upgrades, fresh paint, carpeting, tile, and brighter lighting. Store manager Rosalind Gooden noted that the store will have a “completely new appearance” and will remain open during the entire remodeling process.
The Camden location is one of two stores hosting grand opening ceremonies on November 3. Goody's will also celebrate the grand opening of a new store in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Goody's targets value-conscious customers and promises to provide a broad selection of merchandise featuring labels such as Adidas, Alfred Dunner, Carter's, Dockers, Duck Head, L.E.I., Lee, Levi's, Mudd, Nike, Reebok, Requirements, Sag Harbor, Norton McNaughton, U.S. Polo Association, and Zana-di.
