The Hong Kong Council of Society Service (HKCSS) has named Giordano a “Caring Company 2008/2009” in recognition of the company's efforts to promote corporate social responsibility, including programs to:
- Encourage and support volunteering by employees;
- Provide an employee-friendly working environment, and
- Support charitable organizations and causes.
Launched in 2002 by the HKCSS, the Caring Company Scheme recognizes companies and organizations that demonstrate good corporate citizenship, with a view to promote good corporate citizenship and to encourage partnering among the corporate, public and non-profit sectors.
