World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear Cabela's Incorporated, is planning its Grand Opening activities October 28 - November 6, 2005 at its new 188,000-square-foot store in Rogers, Minn. The 10-day Grand Opening festivities will feature celebrities and hunting and fishing experts sharing stories and advice. Grand Opening giveaways and special prices on clothing and merchandise will also be offered.
Celebrities attending the Grand Opening will include former Minnesota Vikings head coach Bud Grant; three-time Iditarod champion, Jeff King; pro angler Ted Takasaki; 1980 Olympic Gold hockey team member Phil Verchota; and Dallas Cowboys legend Randy White.Other special guests include hunting and fishing authorities, expert dog trainers, wild game chefs, authors and wildlife artists.
Cabela's (http://www.cabelas.com) is located about 10 miles northwest of Minneapolis near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Minnesota Highway 101. Normal store hours are Monday - Saturday, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday. Special Grand Opening hours are Monday - Saturday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., and 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday.
