Harold's to bring new store at new lifestyle center, Greenville

Texas based chain of upscale ladies' and men's specialty apparel stores, Harold's Stores Inc announced plans to open a store in The Shops at Greenridge, a new lifestyle center in Greenville, SC. The Company will close its existing store at The Greenville Mall when the new store is completed. The new 3,300 square foot store will feature ladies' apparel, shoes and accessories.
“Greenville has been a strong market for Harold's and they are pleased to be opening a new store at The Shops at Greenridge to serve their customers in the Greenville-Spartanburg area,” said Leonard Snyder, Interim Chief Executive Officer Snyder continued, “Board of Directors is confident as to the future direction of the Company and believes that strategic moves to grow their store base coupled with initiatives to strengthen overall sales are important to the future of the Company.”
The design of the new store will include the casual, comfortable feeling for which the Company is known and will feature Harold's latest store design. The Company plans to open its new store during the first week of February 2006.
Harold's Stores Inc founded in 1948, is currently operates 41 upscale ladies' and men's specialty stores in 19 states. The Company's Houston locations are known as "Harold Powell."
