Specialty-sized apparel is the fastest growing segment of retailing Casual Male Retail Group leads the way with a new Rochester Big & Tall ('Rochester') store opening in Manhasset, New York.
This new Rochester store is the first of its kind on Long Island and will be located at 1625 Northern Boulevard.
The opening of the Manhasset store brings the number of Rochester stores in the United States and London to 24, providing more convenient locations to shop for high-end big and tall clothing.
Additionally, this is the second Rochester store to be opened since the acquisition by CMRG in November 2004, and is widely viewed as a major step forward for the company to further enhance their position as the undisputed leader in the growing men's big and tall apparel space.
According to the New York State Public Health Association, roughly 60 percent of New Yorkers are big and tall, providing an ideal home for Rochester.
As a result of the growth in the local big & tall market, CMRG continues to grow rapidly, expanding their number of store operations in New York to 32 between its two brands, Casual Male and Rochester.
