Cherokee Q3 fiscal'06 results out, total revenues up 5%

Robert Margolis, Chairman and CEO, said, "Company continue to successfully grow business as evidenced by 20th consecutive quarter of year over year revenue growth. These past ten years of consistent performance give us confidence in ability to execute business as look ahead."
Howard Siegel, President, stated, "Third quarter growth in revenues was due to the increases in retail sales of four largest accounts: Cherokee-branded products at Target, Tesco and Zeller's, and from the growth of the Mossimo brand at Target. In addition, Carole Little brands at TJX continued to grow as it has throughout this year. International revenues also grew, but the strengthening U.S. dollar diminished some of this revenue growth."
Premier clients for the Cherokee brand around the world include Target Stores (U.S.), Tesco (U.K., Ireland and certain other European and Asian countries), Zellers (Canada), Carrefour (selected countries in Europe and South America) and Grupo Aviara (Mexico).
Premier clients for Cherokee's Sideout brand include Mervyn's (U.S.) and Shanghai Bolderway (China), and for Cherokee's Carole Little brands include TJX Companies (U.S., Canada and Europe). Other key clients of Cherokee include Hearst Publications and Solera Capital (U.S.).
