Apparel retailer Jo-Ann Stores hires Goldston as SVP

Apparel and craft sewing fabrics' retailer Jo-Ann Stores Inc announced appointment of David B. Goldston as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.
"Company is delighted to add a person with David's breadth of experience in a wide variety of legal matters to the Jo-Ann Stores senior leadership team," said Alan Rosskamm, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jo-Ann Stores. "This is the first step to rebuilding senior leadership team and I am excited that David has joined us."
Most recently, Goldston was General Counsel of W.W. Holdings, LLC, a privately held manufacturing and distribution company. As a member of the executive management team, he was directly responsible for legal, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law and outside counsel management.
Earlier, Goldston was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of TRW Inc, a global technology and manufacturing company, where he served for 21 years. In December 2002, Northrop Grumman acquired TRW. Prior to TRW, he was with a law firm in Washington DC.
Goldston holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Chicago, and a law degree from George Washington University.
