Van Cleef and Arpels (VCA), founded in Paris in 1906 is celebrating its centenary year with a renovation of its Dubai store in the Burjuman Centre and the unveiling of several new jewelry and watch collections.
VCA is launching three new collections in Dubai to mark its 100th year, compared to the usual one new line per year.
The Middle East being an increasingly important centre for branded jewelry sales, shifting away from traditional un-branded pieces is encouraging the company to plan forays into Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in addition to its existing Abu Dhabi and Dubai stores.
It is also planning to expand its Dubai presence, eyeing retail space in Mall of Arabia and Dubai Mall.
It will hold a two-week exhibition later this month to unveil its new Alhambra four-leaf clover designs.
