The second edition of National Fair of Handicrafts was inaugurated in the Angolan capital of Luanda by Minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva.
The National Fair of Handicrafts 2011 is being organized by the Ministry of Culture in association with the provincial governments.
The Minister said the first edition of handicrafts fair last year was a positive experience and added that the second edition has attracted even greater level of participation.
She stated that the Government's policy of promoting handicraft fairs will lead to increased levels of incomes of people employed in the sector, and thus contribute to poverty alleviation amongst them.
