On the grounds of Historic Village at Allaire in Allaire State Park, just outside Howell, Atlantic Avenue (Route 524), Wall Township the spring crafters market will be opened from May 13, 2006 between 10 am-4 pm.

Entry to the crafters market is US $2 for adults and free for children below age 12.

Demonstrated by more than 125 area craftsmen and artisans the exhibitions will feature everything from museum-quality pieces to country crafts, handicrafts, and homemade bric-a-brac.

The event is a charity performance promoting the historic and educational programmes offered at Historic Village at Allaire by the non-profit society Allaire Village Incorporation, as per a press release.

Craft fanatics and customer who visit the crafters market may also visit the restored 1830s iron manufacturing community at present known as the Historic Village at Allaire

Museum analysts, artisans and craft activists including carpenters and blacksmiths explain the story of the historic buildings and of the people who lived and worked there 170 years ago.
