Malay Businessmen and Industrialist Association (Perdasama) Sabah President, Ramlee Marahaban, said that standardized prices should be charged on local buyers and those from the Peninsula.

High quality handicraft goods can be promoted outside Sabah, especially in the Peninsula, said Ramlee.

Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Businessmen Association (PPKKS) can work together to promote the products in the peninsula also.

Handicraft traders will be educated by Perdasama for sourcing adequate capital for business expansion.

Ramlee suggested that to avoid price discrepancies among traders, all have to standardize the prices for healthy competition.

He also added that traders should not charge the buyers above the prices usually asked from Sabahans.

A seminar on business opportunities related to the implementation of the Ninth Malaysia Plan will be organised by Perdasama at the Tabung Haji Complex on May 24.
