An exhibition of handloom and handicraft products named as Kanglei Ningol Khudol is being organized at GM hall, Imphal from October, 17 to 23, 2006 to promote native products.
The exhibition which has 53 stalls will be showing diverse handloom products, craft works and indigenous delicacies.
Th Gomti, President of Apunba Kanglei Shinnaibi Lup (AKSIL) which is organising the exhibition emphasized the need to bring people back to handloom clothes.
She suggested the use of handloom clothes as gift during festivals will help in reduction of useless and expensive items which are gifted during festival.
