Handicraft villages to witness infrastructure development

A project to build infrastructure in 11 handicraft villages was given the nod by Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee.
Currently there are 12 such villages in Tien Giang province, with each one having average income of VND600,000-700,000 (US $38-44) per month and they provide livelihood to over 10,000 workers.
Mekong Delta province will be investing VND26.7 billion ($1.7 million) in these villages for improving electricity, sewage systems and roads under the project.
