New handicraft market to open on Kalka-Shimla highway

Exclusive handicrafts of Himachal Pradesh will be available for tourists coming to Shimla every year at a marketplace to be opened at Kiari bungalow, located on Kalka-Shimla highway.
Tourism department has selected a site for developing this market. It will be purchased shortly.
Chamba hankies and sandals, Kullu and Kinnauri shawls, mufflers, caps, etc are some of Himachal Pradesh's traditional handicrafts to be displayed here.
