This collective endeavor aims to preserve the age-old culture so deeply cherished by the Subanens, with the use of modern technology. DOST will provide the round-trip air fare of the trainors, DOLE provides 8 units upright handloom machines, FIDA will supply the raw abaca fiber and cotton thread materials, DAR-BIARSP shoulders the food and accommodation of trainors, TESDA will provide incentives for trainors and certificates of appreciation and participation while the local government will shoulder lunch for the participants.
