A spectacular exhibition of Korean dolls adorned in traditional outfit (hanbok) is to be showcased at the University of Southern California, USA. Starting from tomorrow, the event will carry on till Friday this week. It is entirely put up by Soh Hwang, a professor from the department of Textile and clothing at Chung-Ang University.

The exposition titled 'The Beauty of Harmony' will feature 50 dolls portraying the conventional Korean 60th wedding anniversary feast. The event will present a doll of boy, a traditional Korean female entertainer and a Korean scholar, evincing the flavor of Korea.

It was only after two months of tireless efforts that Soh and her research team could come out with this phenomenal show. Every 50 cm doll demonstrated, will be clothed in dresses worth W500,000. Although, Hanbok for dolls and real people are made the same way, it really took a lot more effort to design the Korean dress for these dolls. So much so that experts were also pulled in to help design the dolls and their accessories.
