In a bid to accolade the efforts made by the handicraft-producing villages, a popular Vietnamese culture commenced on November 14 in Hanoi.
The festival that will continue for a week will feature 200 outstanding villages producing every type of craftwork starting from pottery to kites.
The Bat Trang pottery exhibition will also include a tea set that can serve as many as 250 people and can hold up to five kilos of tea at a time.
Besides, the Doi Tam drum makers will also showcase a set of 60 drums to be played by 60 girls during a seven minute musical extravaganza.
A kite competition participated by many of the visitors will be paralleled by floating a four-flute-carried kite, which is made by craftsmen from Hanoi's Dong Anh District.
