Teachers become learners at Gadong handicraft workshop

On January 22, teachers of secondary schools nationwide attended a handicraft workshop organized by the Special Education Unit of Ministry of Education at its premises in Gadong. Their aim was to educate teachers with the requirements of students having special needs.
Around 70 teachers participated enthusiastically in the program. Participants showed more interest during practical lessons which gave them a platform to showcase their talent required to meet the demand of students.
Here, Teachers learned to use tactile teaching materials that are the basic requirement for visually impaired children. Along with it clay modeling and an art appreciation display were also held.
