A group of Widnes artists, the 14th Farnworth Methodist Cub Pack, has won '2010 Handicraft Trophy' for their creativity and art.
The group will be representing the town in a county level competition, after earning this trophy.
Designing a badge to celebrate the Widnes district centenary in 2011 was the subject of this contest.
The six artisans of this group fetched the award after witnessing head-to-head competition with other craftspersons from the area.
