He requested the citizens to take advantage of the month-long concession on khadi products beginning from October 2, on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti.
He further added that a small effort by people to buy khadi as well as handloom products can improve the livelihood of weavers.
PM Modi also said, “I request you all to give khadi a place in your homes this Diwali.”
He made a similar appeal to use 'Khadi for Fashion' last year encouraging the use of the handlooms and khadi products. (HO)
