A two-day Handloom and Handicraft Designers' Summer Creations expo was held at Guwahati in Assam to help budding handloom entrepreneurs and designers to get access to a broader market.

The event was mainly based on 'Boraxha' theme, which symbolizes summer season and was jointly organized by small-scale entrepreneurs and designers in the State.

42 young entrepreneurs who showcased their collections at the fair were provided stalls free-of-cost to display their products.

The main aim behind organizing the event was to encourage and help the domestic designers in the State.

A whole range of handloom and handicraft items prepared from muga, eri, and other items were showcased at the expo, which met with good response.
