The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will waive off loans disbursed to weavers in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
NABARD has entered into an agreement with the Uttarakhand government to waive off loans amounting up to Rs 50,000 given to weaver's.
Alongside, a MoU was also signed between the two entities for revival and restructuring the handloom industry in the state.
