During a gathering organised at Uripok Hoabam Dewan Leikai on April 27, by the Smart Micro Division of the Smart Society, Manipur, yarns was distributed to about 600 weavers belonging to 12 Smart Farmer's Club
Almost 40 kilograms each of yarns were distributed to these clubs for further distribution to the 600 weavers who are also members of the club. Kharif (summer) crop seeds were also distributed to the farmers of Ngairangbam village, by the society.
Gracing the occasion were President of Smart Society, N Samarjit, chief Manager of Smart Micro Finance Division, I Ramanda and vice President of Smart Society, T Shyamkanhai.
