Loftex Logistics LLC, a leading Chinese textile company, has purchased a newly constructed warehouse in Carlstadt's industrial section, in New Jersey, according to American media reports.

The 53,000 square feet warehouse will be used by the company as its first fulfilment and distribution centre. The emergence of online shopping has led many companies to buy warehouses in the area because of its proximity to New York and for quick deliveries, according to real estate agents.

The Chinese investment in the US is steadily growing as many companies in China are looking to build their global presence in order to find markets for excess supply and boost exports.

Loftex China manufactures and exports home textile products like kitchen towels, bath robes, blankets, and bedding linens to Japan, US, Australia, and European countries. (HO)
