The Airtex Group has announced that Michael Noer has been promoted as the president of the company and its brand company, Acme Made. Airtex is a Minneapolis-based national designer and manufacturer of custom home textile goods and sewn products. Acme Made is a leading manufacturer of backpacks, accessories for tablets and laptops and lifestyle bags.

Noer most recently served as senior VP at Airtex and CEO of Acme Made. Now, in the newly-merged company, Noer will lead both organisations as president overseeing all aspects of day-to-day business. Prior to Airtex, Noer formed the company that purchased the Acme Made brand and has had over 20 years in various leadership roles at companies including Thule Group, Imation, and Time Warner Cable, according to a press release by Airtex.

“I’m excited about what Mike brings to the team including setting a strategic direction for growth capitalising in our key market segments,” Mike Miller, CEO of Airtex said.

“I’m thrilled to partner with Mike Miller, leading a historically significant Minneapolis-based textile manufacturing company. We are in a unique position with the ability to design, develop, and produce products in the US as well as with partners abroad,” Noer said. (GK)
