1 min read
UK based Caledonia Investment Plc has allocated about $100-200 million investments for India of the total investments of $2 billion for this year.
Company plans to invest in firms with average market capital of $300-400 million, mainly in home-finance and export-oriented textile sectors.
Tim Ingram, CEO, explained that as about one percent of people in India own homes, there was a huge potential for growth in this sector.
Company currently holds 12 percent stake in Alok Industries and smaller stakes in six other Indian companies.
