AccuQuilt’s, “Have a Heart, Make a Quilt” campaign offered quilters a chance to do some dream quilting while supporting heart health for women. Quilters got to visit the fully stocked and expertly designed AccuQuilt Dream Studio and create a block that would be used in quilts showcased and auctioned at the Go Red For Women Expo.

The Go Red For Women Expo was held at the Embassy Suites in LaVista, Neb. on September 10, 2013. The event’s focus was to celebrate the power of women and band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke.

“AccuQuilt was proud to be a sponsor of this event and even more proud of the quilts that came out of our “Have a Heart, Make a Quilt” campaign,” said Lynn Gibney, AccuQuilt Director of Product Merchandising. “The quilters that came in to create the blocks loved the studio and were excited about being able to participate in an event that promoted women’s health and the American Heart Association.”

The “Have a Heart, Make a Quilt” campaign resulted in seven beautiful quilts that were showcased and auctioned at the AHA Expo event. The auctioned quilts raised $2,125.00 for the American Heart Association, helping make the Go Red For Women Expo a great success.
