From January to October this year, the online sales of home textiles in China reached 53 billion yuan, according to the data from the China Household Textile Industry Association. Of this, with sales of 26 billion yuan, Lynx accounted for nearly 50 percent of online sales.

At the present rate, online sales of home textiles in China is likely to cross 60 billion yuan this year.

The sudden emergence of online sales network has become a hot topic in the Chinese home textiles industry, and many brands have started to focus on selling online.

Industry analysts expect online sales of home textiles in China to double within a few years from now. One reason for this expected growth is that home textiles like towels, bed sheets, etc. are generally standardized products which are more suitable for online sales.

Another reason is the quietly changing spending habits of consumers, who are now shifting focus from price level and are paying more attention to value for money. As a result, some brands are now introducing homogeneity of products in offline and online stores. This way, consumers find it more convenient to get the same product online with store experience.

With frequent patronization by customers, the online businesses of well-known home textile brands are increasingly turning prosperous.
