Textile exports to US may reach $2bn, Shamshad Akhtar

With the finalization of a special commercial agreement, textile exports to the US are expected to earn over $2 billion.
Dr Shamshad Akhtar, Governor, State Bank of Pakistan believes that officials have been successful in ending the illegal loans that were being issued on political basis with support from private sector.
She assured that the Government was granting loans to small cultivators on priority basis.
