San learners receive beddings from Chinese company

Oshikango based Golden Phoenix Enterprises donated 500 cotton quilts and 200 mattressess to San Development Programme.
In 2006, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Libertina Amathila was taken aback by seeing San learners sleeping uncomfortably because of lack of bedding and mattresses.
Amathila, who was provided task of developing San, told that this problem has led to increase in dropout rate to 60 percent.
The donation will be provided to learners in Tsumkwe in the Otjozondjupa Region, Okatjoruu and Coblenz Junior Secondary Schools and to schools in the Omaheke.
