In the first quarter of this year, export situation of Chinese bedding was very good as value was US $501 million, with a rise of 13.78 percent compared to the same period last year. Export price also increased by 0.45 percent.
The export value of the cotton bedding was $319 million. Cotton printing bedsheet's export was remarkable - both the export volume and the export price increased, especially in cotton knitting bedding export prices increased by 56.25 percent.
The export of chemical fibre bedding accounted for 26.33 percent, the export of the embroidery chemical fibre bedding increased.
In the silk bedding and the hemp bedding, export volume was not much; however, export volume and price of the silk bedding increased compared to the same period last year, the export price of the hemp bedding decreased.
