Swedish home furnishing retailer IKEA early this week launched two trucks in Mumbai to explain concepts about affordability, accessibility and sustainability to customers. Called IKEA On Wheels, the vehicles with functional and furnished rooms enable customers to closely view IKEA products and solutions. This is IKEA India’s first physical presence in Mumbai.

Themed with concepts ‘Sustainable living (with Kitchens)’, and ‘Living with children', the trucks will be in Mumbai, one based in Utopia City, Worli (Kamala Mills) and the other travelling to various points between South Mumbai and Western Suburbs, the company was quoted as saying by Indian media reports.
These trucks also offer scope to potential customers for getting personalised assistance from IKEA experts.
