The country's power consumption saw a year-on-year increase of 6.8 per cent in its primary industries, while the secondary and tertiary sectors experienced rises of 5.3 per cent and 10.4 per cent, respectively.
During the 11-months period, residential power consumption recorded robust growth of 11.6 per cent, according to the administration. Power usage increased by 2.8 per cent in November compared to the same month last year.
China's electricity consumption had risen by 7.6 per cent YoY between January and October 2024, as per media reports.
