China's textile production up 4.1% in Jan-April 2019

The combined revenues of major textile companies increased 4.9 per cent during the four-month period, NDRC said in a statement.

The export of textiles and garments from China were down 3.7 per cent to $75.76 billion during the period under review, the data from the General Administration of Customs showed. While textile exports saw marginal rise of 0.81 per cent and rose to $36.67 billion, clothing and accessories exports were down 7.56 per cent to $39.09 billion. (RKS)
