India's Karnataka state clears 62 investment projects worth ₹3,607 cr

India’s Karnataka state government recently approved 62 industrial investment proposals worth ₹3,607.19 crore with the potential to create 10,755 jobs. Three projects with an additional investment of ₹577.35 crore were also approved by the committee.

Eight of the 62 proposals envisage over ₹50 crore in investment, totaling ₹2,088.44 crore. These hold the potential to create 6,360 jobs, the minister's office said in a statement.

Fifty one projects with a cumulative investment of ₹941.40 crore are each between ₹15 crore and ₹50 crore, having an employment generation potential of 4,395, it said.

The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee, headed by the state’s large and medium industries and infrastructure development minister M B Patil, cleared the proposals.
