The polypropylene (PP) plant of Formosa Petrochemical Corp is running at reduced operating rates.
The plant located in Linyuan, Taiwan is currently operating at just 30 percent production capacity, a company official told fibre2fashion.
The rates have been reduced due to a fire at its Mailiao Petrochemical Complex, the official added.
The polypropylene plant has a capacity of 270,000 metric tons per annum.
