Large-scale Chinese textile enterprises have witnessed their sales grow significantly by 30.03 percent year-on-year to 2.441 trillion Yuan, during the first six months of the current year, as per the latest data from China Textile Industry Association.
Within the textile industry, the hemp and linen sector witnessed the highest growth at 43.04 percent year-on-year. The second highest growth was by the chemical industry that showed a 34.92 percent year-on-year growth.
The core textile industry saw the third highest growth of 32.14 percent year-on-year.
Printing and dyeing industry had the lowest growth rate of 20.04 percent year-on-year, in terms of sales value.
