Chinese yarn & fabric output to continue to rise

China's yarn production stood at 27.17 million tons in 2010, according to National Bureau of Statistics.

Yarn output is expected to reach 34.50 million tons in 2015, on an estimated growth rate of 5 percent per year.

Of this, cotton yarn accounted for about 21 million tons in 2010 or 71 percent of the overall yarn production in the country.

China's fabric production touched 800 million meters in 2010. This is output is expected to reach billion meters in 2015 again at an expected 5 percent annual growth.
