Increasing labor productivity is the future trend of the development of the textile industry, say experts.

China's employment of cotton textile industry fell 40 percent per ten thousand spindles during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan.

The employment of overall industry is expected to fall to 60 people per ten thousand spindles by 2015.

At the same time, the shuttle-less loom sector will realize the target of employing 100 people per 100 looms.

This requires China's textile enterprises to improve production process and also eliminate outdated equipment and adopt new textile machinery of high automation and intelligence.
